Peacebloom VS. Ghouls - The Strategy Guide

Peacebloom VS Ghouls is a World of Warcraft mini-game based on the popular Popcap Games title Plants VS Zombies. A mob of cerebellum-craving zombies is about to invade your lawn, and your only defense is an arsenal of zombie-killing plants. Use spitters, rock-nuts, pumpkin bombs and more to eradicate zombies before they reach your front door and eat your brains!

Upcoming Class Changes

We have a lot of players at 85 now doing everything from Heroic dungeons to rated Battlegrounds, and the class design team is starting to prepare our list of items to investigate for our next patch.

Before you dive down into the meat below (not really a pleasant image, that), be advised that we’re still early in the preliminary stages. The patch isn’t coming out tomorrow. I wrote this before the end of the year and other things may have cropped up in the meantime. Just because your class or pet problem isn’t mentioned below doesn’t mean we won’t address it.

Zone and Instance Progression Flowchart for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm

A complete resource for all the new zones in Cataclysm
World of Warcraft Cataclysm Progression Flowchart
World of Warcraft: Cataclysm may not contain as many new levels as previous expansions, but that certainly doesn't mean it isn't equally packed full of new content to explore. To help guide you on your journey, we've put together a complete progression flowchart for all the new overland zones and dungeons.

WoW - Making Sense of the Arena Season 9 Rating & Item Adjustment

Ratings have been reset to 1,500 and other crazy things going on Season 9.
There is nothing more important to a PvP’er in World of Warcraft than the Arena. The Arena is where teams of players fight it out against one another in ranked combat working toward gaining rating and points which allows them access to high level PvP only gear. World of Warcraft: Cataclysm brought about the “Conquest Point System” where Arenas and Rated Battlegrounds award Conquest Points used to buy the high level armor and weapons. The ninth season kicked off last week right after maintenance was completed, but contained within it a terrible bug that some players exploited to gain higher than normal MMR (matchmaking rating). This led to inflated ratings and teams that were far higher level than their skill/team composition should have allowed.

WoW Trick: Get easy Maelstrom Crystals

As it is difficult to get Maelstrom Crystals (Epic enchanting Crystals). There is an “easy” way to get them out.
Characters with Alchemy/Enchanting may craft Lifebound Alchemist Stone and disenchant it. Depending on your realm it may be profitable or not… but in my realm it costs 1000g to craft one and they go for 4000 in the auction house.

WoW Addon Guide: Minimal Archaeology

I trust Cataclysm content has been as fun for you as it has for me? Finally having settled in, I’ve started to power through my trade skills and new professions. Archaeology was something I purposefully abstained from in the beta, mostly because it was the piece of new content I wanted to experience fresh. So after reaching 85 and heading off on new archaeological adventures, I was instantly hooked.
Minimal Archaeology takes the essence of the awesome archaeology interface and transcribes it on a simple window with simple commands.

WoW Death Knight Guide: Pre-heroic Cataclysm gear for DPS death knights

Now that Cataclysm‘s been out for around a week, a lot of us have managed to hit level 85, with more dinging every day. Now that you’re 85, though, what do you do? If this were Wrath, you’d grab a few reputation or BoE blues, hit the minimum ilevel for heroics, and start queueing.
In theory, you could do that for Cataclysm — but to be honest, you’d probably fail hard. Dungeons are tough, and you won’t have dudes in tier gear to drag you through. Almost everyone’s going to be just about the same for the next few months: complete newbies who are still trying to get raid groups together and still trying to learn new rotations and stat weights for level 85.

Introducing Tol Barad

Cataclysm's answer to Wintergrasp is both entertaining and challenging
Tol Barad is Cataclysm's equivalent of Wintergrasp. It is an island off the coast of Gilneas where Horde and Alliance will vie for dominion of Baradin Hold and the raid instance beneath it.

Tol Barad is divided into two sections: the main island housing the Tol Barad Prison complex, and the peninsula to the north. These two areas are connected by a bridge on the north end of the main island. Tol Barad peninsula will serve as a daily questing area similar to the Isle of Quel'Danas. Whichever faction controls the island will have access to even better daily quests and rewards.

WoW: Getting in Touch with the Past - An Archeology Guide

What will you dig up with the new Archeology Profession?

Archaeology is the brand new secondary profession that is scheduled to be released with World of Warcraft’s newest expansion; Cataclysm. However, unlike other secondary professions such as First Aid and Cooking, Archaeology is intended solely to be a casual profession. Because of this players will not feel the need to rush the leveling of Archaeology and will be able to instead enjoy it in their downtime.

WoW Cataclysm dungeon entrances

In Cataclysm, you have to discover the entrance of the dungeon before you can queue up for it using the LFG system. It is a new change in Cataclysm and one to put a damper on those that want to log on and run an instance right away. Fortunately, Blizzard announced that they are removing the requirement to discover the entrances to pre-Cataclysm dungeons, read it here. If you want to run a few dungeons while you quest to break up your routine, here is a quick guide to where all of the instances are.

WoW Addon Guide: DrDamage

This week, your HMO better cover out-of-system doctors, because we’re going to the best. Occasionally called “Doctor TMI” among my friends, DrDamage is a beefy little addon that adds a completely new level of understanding and information to your damage and healing abilities. Sometimes you learn a little too much about your skills. Nonetheless, DrDamage is a unique addon that can help you feel your way through Cataclysm’s new skills and abilities, making you a heroic king again in no time.

WoW Achievement Guide: Winter Veil 2010

Winter Veil 2010 runs from Wednesday, Dec. 15 through Sunday, Jan. 2 this year. UnlikeNovember’s holiday, Pilgrim’s Bounty, the Merrymaker meta is required for What A Long, Strange Trip It’s Been. If you’ve already got a Violet Proto-Drake or just don’t care about the meta, Winter Veil will also give you the opportunity to turn your mount into a reindeer, become a snowman with a unique dance animation, and get noncombat pets and snowballs. Of course, if Santa RNG thinks you’ve been bad, you’ll just wind up with Coal.
